Venerable Ta Yu will give a series of Dharma Talks in 2007 after every Sunday morning's Meditation Class of 10:00 a.m.. The topics of the Dharma Talks will be announced soon. All are welcome to attend
these extraordinary Dharma Talks.
Venerable Ta Yu is the President of the American Zen Buddhist Temple - Vairocana Monastery. She became a nun at age of twenty. Since then, she had contributed herself to be an editor of Buddhist
magazines and given Dharma Talk to the people in Taiwan. From 1994 to 1997, she studied Buddhism in Kelaniya University, Sri Lanka. In June 2000, Venerable Ta Yu came to the United States of America to assist Venerable Heng Yuan,
the founder of the American Zen Buddhist Temple - Vairocana Monastery, in establishing the temple. After the sudden passing of our beloved founder, Venerable Heng Yuan, Venerable Ta Yu was elected to be the President of the AZBT to
carry on the will and achievement of Venerable Heng Yuan. AZBT will continue to thrive under her leadership.
