Three Studies – (1) Discipline: learning the precepts to guard body, speech, and mind away from making bad Karma and getting bad consequences; (2) Meditation: letting mind to concentrate on one object to achieve non-scattering mental operation, or its tranquil state; (3) Wisdom: studying and practicing Buddhism to clearly see through and understand everything and its nature - truth.





Four Bodhisattva’s Virtues – (1) Giving without attachment to lead others to realize the truth; (2) Speaking beloved words without attachment to lead others to realize the truth; (3) Conducting profitable action to others without attachment to lead others to realize the truth; (4) Co-operating with others without attachment to lead others to realize the truth.





Five Powers – (1) Faith; (2) Diligence; (3) Contemplation; (4) Meditation; (5) Wisdom.





Six Paramitas – (1) Giving; (2) Keeping the precepts; (3) Patience; (4) Diligence; (5) Meditation; (6) Wisdom, the realization of the truth.





Seven Characteristics of Bodhi – (1) Contemplation of meditation and wisdom, which keeps the mind clear; (2) The ability to differentiate the true and false Dharma based on wisdom; (3) Practice the pure Dharma diligently in a correct way at all times; (4) Joy to have and know the pure Dharma; (5) Riddance of all grossness or weight of body and mind that they are light, free, stable and at ease; (6) Meditation keeps the mind concentrate without scattering thoughts; (7) Free of attachment and aversion to live in equanimity and balance condition.
